Public Service Announcement

My friends over at Gosselins Without Pity are experiencing technical difficulties. They've set up a back-up blog at gosselinwithoutpity.blogspot.com that is working.

Edited to add: GWoP is back up!

And I should have a new episode within a week - I swear I do not have enough cats to be a crazy cat lady, but I've spent the last week learning how to give subcutaneous fluids to my senior kitty and his failing kidneys. Not. Fun. But the crisis has passed and I have found my sense of humour again.

As a cat "owner" who gave sub-q fluids to her precious kitty for over two years, I can assure you you're doing the best possible thing. It can be a little intimidating in the beginning, but once you see him/her bouncing back and acting more like themselves, it's all worthwhile.

Thank you for the laughs, too. Keep up the great work.

Your link is broken - I think you forgot the s in Gosselins. Not that it matters... I typed it in by hand and the blog is under review for possible TOS violation and is unavailable. Just thought I'd let ya know.

Rebecca, the GWoP backup blog does not have the "s". I am friends with some of the moderators, and the blog has been locked by a moderator error.

Okay, thanx. I just tried again and it's working. Nevermind! :-)

Angela, You are my go-to gal on all things Gosselin. Question: The twins were born less than a year after Jon and Kate married. Kate was 24, Jon was 22. Where does the infertility treatment come in? If my math serves, they didn't get pregnant in two months, then turned to invasive procedures? runciblespn
PS of course, I still watch, but the show is even more of a train wreck than it used to be.

Runciblespn, Kate's story is that she had a hunch she'd have trouble conceiving, and she insisted on testing, which showed she has PCOS. So they did IUI right away. That's the story they're telling.

Sorry about your kitty, I'm glad the issue has passed! I lost my childhood cat last year to complications from kidney problems. It's definitely hard! I hope your kitty is feeling better!!

Looking forward to a new episode when you get it up! :)
